MEDICINAL BENEFITS/USES:
EXTERNAL USES ONLY
Leaf Extract:
- Apply to skin ailments
- 1tsp daily to treat bronchitis and lung sicknesses
Crushed Leaves:
- Apply to skin wounds anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. It is also used as a soothing ointment for things like warts, parasites, burns, cellulitis, lesions, ulcers, and dry skin.
Leaf Tea:
- Put leaves in a pot of boiling water let simmer 20 mins, then strain, drink. This ancient remedy has been long known for treatment of Asthma, Cough, Bronchitis, Allergies, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease,
- Can also be used topically, as past Italians have, for skin ailments as well.
